Soon after the walk started, we all saw a beautiful Barred Owl right by Townsend. We also saw Palm Warblers, Red-eyed Vireos, and Yellow-rumped Warblers. We walked towards the farm where we saw American Kestrels, Mourning Doves, and Ravens. We visited a small body of water where we saw Mallards, lots of Red-winged Blackbirds, and a special visit from a Wilson’s Snipe! At the Woodlot/ Ecology Woods, there were lots of Red-bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Tufted Titmouse, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, and Northern Flicker!
