Bobolinks, Meadowlarks and more!
Join Ian Stewart at Fair Hill NRMA in nearby Maryland and enjoy close-up views of breeding Bobolinks, Grasshopper & Savannah Sparrows and Meadowlarks from numerous groomed trails throughout their grassland habitats. Excellent photographic opportunities abound just a short walk from the parking area where we’ll meet at 8AM! The 5,656 acres at Fair Hill are subject to multiple management practices and our stroll should produce a very respectable 60+ species list. Much of the time will be spent enjoying the Bobolinks and sparrows tending to fledglings with additional exploration of adjacent woodlands along Big Elk Creek.
