Find many species at Little Creek!

The Delaware Bay in fall is a great place to search for migrating songbirds, shorebirds, wading birds, terns and gulls, raptors and early migrant waterfowl. Little Creek Wildlife Area is conveniently located in the middle of this action and offers a wide variety of habitats with excellent access. Birding will be primarily roadside birding in the Main Tract and along Pickering Beach Road with limited walking on paved or dirt roads. We will also visit the accessible Observation Platform at the Main Tract of Little Creek WLA.

Meet at the Little Creek Boat Ramp near the intersection of Rt 9 and South Little Creek Road.

Please note, a DE Conservation Access Pass is required to drive onto and park at the Little Creek Wildlife Area.
